Fareed Haque Group plays Pat Martino’s “Joyous Lake” with special guest drummer Kenwood Dennard

On the first night of a three-night “Celebration of the Life and Music of Pat Martino” at the Gateway Playhouse in Somers Point, NJ, the Fareed Haque Group recreated music from Pat Martino’s game-changing 1976 fusion album, ‘Joyous Lake.’ Drummer Kenwood Dennard, who appeared on that original recording from 45 years ago, performed the title track and his own composition “M’Wandishi” from that classic album.
